Between the two of them, McBride and Carlon have four decades of experience working in the financial services industry on various sides of the business. They leverage their experience while having a robust discussion on how the relationship between design and insights has evolved over the years. The two cover best practices in financial services UX research as they pertain to informing the digital customer experience, when and why to leverage instinct and experience over customer opinions, and McBride’s take on how researchers and designers can work more effectively together.
